International Photography Awards: 2023 Winners
Celebrating the Best of the Best
Every year, the International Photography Awards (IPA) celebrates the best in photography from around the world. Established in 2003, the IPA is a leading platform for photographers to showcase their work, as well as a great way to discover new talent and gain international recognition. This year is no different, with a long list of talented photographers winning awards in a variety of categories.
This year, the IPA received more than 35,000 submissions from over 120 countries. A jury of experts then narrowed down the submissions to the top winners. The top prize went to Canadian photographer, Maryam Khedr, who won the Grand Prize for her photograph, “A Moment of Clarity.”

Honorable Mentions
The IPA also recognized several photographers with Honorable Mentions. These photographers include Italian photographer, Fabio Lanzoni, who won an Honorable Mention in the People category for his photograph, “The Fisherman.” German photographer, Christian Kapp, won an Honorable Mention in the Nature category for his photograph, “The Frozen Lake.” And Russian photographer, Oleg Bortnovskiy, won an Honorable Mention in the Architecture category for his photograph, “The Kremlin in Moscow.”
The IPA Awards Ceremony
The IPA Awards Ceremony was held on April 17th, 2023 in London, England. Hundreds of photographers, industry professionals, and dignitaries attended the event, which was hosted by renowned British photographer, David Bailey. During the ceremony, the winners of the Grand Prize and each of the categories were announced, and the winners received their awards.
